Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using gridview.ai (“Gridview”, “the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Gridview is a UK energy-sector analytics platform that aggregates and displays publicly available data from Elexon, NESO, and Distribution Network Operators. Data is presented for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, trading, or investment advice.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to register.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
  • New accounts receive a 14-day Pro trial. At the end of the trial, access reverts to the Free tier unless you have an active paid subscription.
  • You may not share your account credentials with others or create accounts for the purpose of circumventing access controls.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape or bulk-download data from the Service in a manner that degrades performance for other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to republish or resell data in ways that violate the upstream licences listed on our Data Attribution page.
  • Submit false, misleading, or abusive content via the contact form.

5. Data accuracy

Gridview ingests data from third-party sources (Elexon, NESO, DNOs) and makes reasonable efforts to present it accurately. However, we make no warranty that data is complete, up-to-date, or error-free. You should verify important figures against the original sources before making commercial decisions.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gridview is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

7. Intellectual property

The Gridview software, branding, and original analysis are our intellectual property. Underlying datasets remain subject to their upstream licences — see the Data Attribution page for details.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected].

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email to registered users. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
